Product Overview

HiSoftware Compliance Sheriff® gives organizations an easy, cost-effective way to integrate a comprehensive and automated solution for managing content compliance against Web Governance standards as part their Risk Management strategy. It enables organizations to easily validate their websites, intranets, document libraries, email, and social and collaborative media content for compliance against standards-based and custom organizational policies for Privacy, Accessibility, Social Media/Collaboration, Brand Corruption and Operational Security. Unlike other solutions, it also allows users to easily define and conduct custom tests for an organization's own unique policies without any costly consulting and or programming. With HiSoftware Compliance Sheriff organizations can successfully develop and maintain compliant content that meets the highest standards in Web Governance.

HiSoftware Compliance Sheriff for Microsoft SharePoint® Server (MOSS) The HiSoftware Compliance Sheriff for SharePoint enterprise platform complements the powerful content publishing and collaborative features and functionality in SharePoint Server 2007 / 2010 by providing users with a means to monitor content for potential compliance issues across the application – keeping information safe, within regulatory guidelines and appropriate. It provides a platform for managing SharePoint content compliance to address risk factors including Privacy, Accessibility, Social Media/Collaboration, Brand Corruption and Operational Security across websites, intranets, document libraries, email, and social and collaborative media. HiSoftware’s end-to-end compliance solutions allow organizations to implement a fully integrated Web project life cycle approach that allows MOSS customers to start accessible and stay accessible through an integrated SharePoint work flow process. This approach dramatically reduces the time, cost, and complexity associated with building, deploying and maintaining properly functioning SharePoint sites that support the highest level of compliance.

AccVerify®/AccRepair® offer Development Life-cycle Solutions for Compliance Management, Testing and Remediation. In addition to Enterprise Web Governance and Compliance solutions, HiSoftware also offers interactive, on-demand Developers Desktop Solutions that allow developers and content providers to test/repair content prior to publishing in the production environment. By building Accessibility and over-all compliance testing into the development life-cycle, HiSoftware's Developers Desktop Solutions can reduce the overall cost of meeting these compliance challenges, rather than waiting to report these issues on the production site, or worse, have your customers report the issue. This allows the developers to learn the skill-sets required to meet organizational and regulatory standards, as part of their normal unit-testing process.

The Cynthia Says Portal™ educates users in the concepts behind Web site accessibility. It is a free tool for Education community designed to identify errors in Web content related to Section 508 standards and/or the WCAG guidelines for accessibility. It allows users to test individual pages on their Web site and provides feedback in a reporting format that is clear and easy to understand.
